Born in 1995 in West Point, Nebraska, Mike grew up on a farm always facinated with anything with an Engine. One of his grandfathers was an over the road trucker hauling anything from lumber on his step deck trailer to coils of steel. His other grandfather was a hay grinder in O’Neil Nebraska. Having several trucks and two grinders, Mike became familiar with Cat Engines. Moving to Sioux Falls as an early teen into the suburbs, he found himself looking for the next adventure in life. Attending Middle school in Brandon, he ended up finding his future wife. When he came of age to start working, at the age of 15, he started working at Arby’s and Subway. Quickly realizing that the food industry wasn’t going to suit him well, he found himself looking for a job as a Mechanic. He ended up finding a small mechanic shop on a farm in Renner and being reminded of a simpler life style, he began working on cars and pickups. 10 Years and 5 kids later, he began looking for that next adventure. His grandfather being diagnosed with cancer, Mike found himself visiting him every weekend for almost a year. Being around the heavy equipment and the familiar cat engines again, he knew which direction he was going to turn. He found himself working for a Diesel repair shop on nights and weekends for a couple of months and then began full time for over two and half years. Since then, he found himself ready to take the next step in his adventure, Opening his own Shop.
